FCSC Chairman, Prof Tunji Olaopa

The Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has disowned an online promotion form circulating on media platforms, warning civil servants to disregard it.
Prof. Tunji Olaopa, Chairman of the commission, gave the warning in a statement issued by Mr Taiwo Hassan, the Public Relations Officer of commission on Sunday in Abuja.
Olaopa said the form and its associated link did not originate from the commission.
“The Commission has a well-structured system guided by public service rules for conducting its promotion exercises,” he said.
He, however, referenced the commission official circular, No: FC.6243l GOV I 2025 I VOLI I L, issued on May 12, 2025, as the only valid guideline for this year’s promotion process.
The FCSC Chairman cautioned members of the public against falling victim to fraudulent recruitment syndicates and racketeers.
“Any change to the Commission’s promotion process will be duly communicated to Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs) and publish on the Commission’s official website,” Olaopa explained.
He advised c’vil servants to rely solely on its website: www.fedcivilservice.gov.ng for verified information. (NAN)
